Christmas Lights Tour

The joys of following real buses through the crowded streets of London - an RT, RM and RF negotiate the junction into Regent Street.

Amersham

Admittedly RF486 never worked from Amersham, but MB90 did and is seen back in its old haunts in Beaconsfield.

Another among the 8 routes worked by 486 on the day was the sole journey on the 455B to Wooburn Common.  This is the terminus.

Cobham National Trust Day

Framed by the National Trust's Clandon House, RF315 was amongst the buses providing

a link between two NT properties and Cobham Bus Museum.

Brentford Dock

The community at Brentford Dock, originally Brunel's transfer facility between the River Thames and the Great Western, celebrated 150 years over the weekend of 11-12 July.  On the Saturday, Cobham's STL441, itself 75 years old, ran services to the Kew Bridge Steam Museum and Kew Green.

On the Sunday, the duty was operated by RF486, seen here between workings and on display with a fire engine and (out of shot) a group of classic cars.

Horsham

Proper green buses in the Country Area.  Newly repainted RF633 joins GS62 at Carfax.

LT's route 852 only reached Ewhurst for a few months in the 1950s, and then only with GSs, until invaded by RFs in 2009.

Cobham Members' Day 2009
Another chance to run the 219 to Weybridge BAC Works.  Cobham Bus Museum's members' day was so well supported that extra buses were required to ferry members to see the new Brooklands site.  Seize the moment!
