Leatherhead
STLs finished on the 65 in November 1949
(mostly ancient ones), whilst Leatherhead's second batch of RTs
arrived in January 1949 for route 468. RTs and STLs would
therefore have met, both in Leatherhead and, as here, in
Chessington.

RF486 ran the delightfully-rural 224 at Staines, seen here in Horton.

LBM Members'
Day
RF486, which worked the 219 when based at
Kingston in 1961-65 (see here), returned
to BAC Weybridge Works (or Brookands Museum, as part of the site
now is) for LBM members' day in March.
