Alton - Mid Hants
Railway
RF486 and Aldershot & District 543 in
Guildford, heading for Alton by different routes. Two AEC
products, the A&D Reliance dates from 1954, a year newer than
the RF.
RF486 arrives at Alton Station on A&D
service 28 from Lasham.

RF486 visited Potters Bar garage on service
350A. PB hosted RFs briefly
on route 284 in 1968, before the arrival of
the FRM.
2005
RF486 marked the end of Routemaster operation
on route 19 on 1 April
by running over the four RF routes that
served Finsbury Park. Seen here
en route via the 19 at Piccadilly
Circus. 'Pay as you enter' boards are of course
incorrect - the 236 was never one-man
operated.
