Route 236 is a significant route for London's RFs, being the last single-deck operation in London to carry conductors, in 1971.  We celebrated 35 years since that day at our Hackney Marshes event in 2006, and were delighted that we were again able to operate two RFs on the current 236 as part of CT Plus's Ash Grove garage open day on 22 April 2017, thanks to CT Plus, Tower Transit and TfL.

With thanks to the photographers, we have pleasure in including some photos of the operation.

RF406 in Eastway departs Hackney Wick for Ash Grove garage, just off line of route at the south end of Mare Street, through which most journeys operated.
